Dr. Shereen Arulpragasam is a clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Shereen has lived in 5 countries. She has also lived in the West, Midwest, Northeast, and Southern parts of the United States. These experiences have allowed her to enjoy working with a diverse population of clients.
She received her doctoral degree from Michigan State University. She has worked in a variety of settings including Outpatient Clinics, University Counseling Centers, Inpatient hospitals, Partial Hospitalization Programs, and Veteran Administration Medical Centers.
Her areas of specialty include PTSD, Chronic illness and pain, Insomnia, ADHD, Bipolar, Depression, and Anxiety. She uses evidence-based treatments including Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBTI), CBT for Pain, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
It gives her great joy to see her patients develop and use lifelong skills that allow them to grow towards their full potential.
